Uhuru Torch Race 2023 arrived in Mara Region this morning and to welcome the team was Mara Regional Commissioner Said Mohamed Mtanda who hosted a grand reception at Robanda village, located in Western Serengeti.
Arusha Regional Commissioner John Mongella handed over the Uhuru Torch to RC Mtanda moments after its arrival in Mara region via the world-famous Serengeti National Park.
The Uhuru Torch race team will inspect and launch a number of development projects worth more than 17 bn/- in the Lake Zone region, according to officials.
