In what was seen as a rare incident, a huge leopard was today spotted wandering at Rwamlimi area in the Lake Victoria town of Musoma in Mara region.
Musoma District Commissioner, Dr Halifa Haule confirmed the incident in a brief message he shared on social media, saying that the leopard was killed by the Bunda based special task that prevents wild animals from loitering.
“ There has been no harm to human beings or livestock “, the district commissioner said in his message, accompanied by a picture of the dead wild animal.
