Set aside land for youth farming, UVCCM tells district councils

National Chairman of the ruling party CCM Youth Organization (UVCCM) Mohammed Kawaida has called on all district councils to set aside land for youth agriculture, saying farming is the foundation of the country’s economy.

Kawaida made the request yesterday when he toured the ambitious Build a Better Tomorrow (BBT) project at the College of Agriculture in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, noting that another aim was to meet President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s goal of making Tanzania capable of feeding the world.
