THE Public Services Social Security Fund (PSSSF) has improved digital processing of retirees benefits with records showing more than 8000 claims were submitted and processed in September this year as opposed to only 600 that were submitted last June.

The Fund’s Public Relations Manager Yesaya Mwakifulefule said today that the integration and transformation of digital operations has made it possible for the Fund to reach and serve more retirees at the fingerprint thanks to the digital transformation.

He was speaking during the 7th Mining and Technology Exhibitions that climaxed today with the closing event graced by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The retirees are not forced to travel all the way to the Fund’s to submit their retirement benefits anymore and that it now takes not more than 60 days for the retirees benefits to be paid provided all the documents are clear.
