President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Eng. Mohamed Besta as TANROADS Chief Executive Officer. Eng Besta replaces Eng Rogatus Hussein Mativila who has been appointed Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the President (Infrastructure). Eng Besta was Technical Director at the Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA), an East African body based in Entebbe Uganda.
The President has also appointed Eng Amin Nathanael Mcharo as Chairperson of TANROADS Board of Directors.
In the meantime, President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Commissioner Benedict Wakulyamba as Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. Wakulyamba takes over from Anderson Mutatembwa, who becomes Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliamentary Affairs and Coordination).
