President Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday October 30 participated in round table discussions on African agriculture held in Des Moines, Lowa State, in the United States.
The event was organised by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and attended by African leaders and US private sector operators engaged in agriculture.
It was part of other side events of the Borlaug Dialogue,
a global high- level event focusing on cutting-edge issues on food security and agriculture.
This is a high-level neeting which gathers world leaders and top experts in development, agriculture, economic policy, resource management and nutrition.
It is surrounded by the annual presentation of the World Food Prize to winners who have excelled in fighting hunger.
