Tanzania parliament yesterday approved budget estimates for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism to the tune of 654.6bn/- for the financial year 2023/2024, summed up as a vital strategy for strengthening conservation and tourism.

Responding to various issues raised by Members of Parliament, Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Mohamed Mchengerwa promised to work out a solution to each of the problems brought forward by the people’s representatives.

“ We, at the ministry, will ensure each and every single concern of the people gets a satisfactory answer so next time we meet, our discussions will be centred on tourism and conservation and not the challenges in the sector,’’ said Mchengerwa.
