Home Affairs Minister Hamad Yusuf Masauni has launched a national ID distribution exercise in Musoma, Mara Region, which will cover the whole country.

Speaking during the launch at Mukendo Primary School yesterday, Masauni said the exercise which aims to help Tanzanians get national IDs without any glitch, will cover boarder regions first before extending to the rest of the country, adding that NIDA has already rolled out large quantities of the cards and are of high quality too.

“An ID card is a very important document and after this launch, NIDA personnel will go to hamlets, streets and villages to distribute it to everyone who has been registered,’’ the minister said.
