IGP Wambura transfers Regional Police Commanders

INSPECTOR General of Police (IGP) Camillius Wambura yesterday transferred some Regional Police Commanders as part of improving services of the police force of maintaining law and order.

Those transferred include former Lindi Regional Police Commander Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pili Mande who becomes the Head of Police Women Network (TPF-Net) at the headquarters in Dodoma.

A statement issued by police force spokesman, SACP David Misime, said Njombe Regional Police Commander ACP John Makuri would take over ACP Mande’s position in Lindi.

It further said former Police Commander for the police region of Ilala, ACP Debora Magiligimba has been transferred to the unit of police assistants at the headquarters in Dodoma.

Former police force region of Kinondoni head of investigations ACP Yustino Mgonja replaces ACP Magiligimba at Ilala.

IGP Wambura has also transferred and elevated former Mara Regional Head of Operations ACP Mahamudu Banga to become the Njombe Regional Police Commander.
