At least seven people have been badly wounded by a hyena in Tarime district of Mara region.
The incident occurred early this morning (Tuesday) at Bugos area on the outskirts of Tarime town in the Lake Zone region, according to local leaders.
“The number of the injured who received treatment here at Tarime Hospital is seven. We don’t know if more people will be coming ,” said a source who declined to be named, at Tarime Town Council hospital where the injured persons rushed for treatment.
