Four cheat death as aircraft develops fault while landing in Serengeti

Four people escaped death today when a light plane developed a mechanical fault while landing at the Kogatende airstrip at the Serengeti National Park.

The Tanzania National Parks Communication Unit reported in a brief statement that the plane had on board three passengers and the pilot.

The plane, whose source of accident is yet to be determined, is property of Flight Link 5H-FLI, according to the statement.

The accident occurred at 12.52 noon.
