Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Said Ally Mwema has launched a book he authored, titled: Police Administration and Law Enforcement in Tanzania, A Strategic Transformation Perspective.
To grace the launch in Dar es Salaam on Friday was Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Jumanne Sagini who was joined by other dignitaries from various institutions, and retired commissioners of police. CP Suzan Kaganda represented IGP Camilius Wambura.
On the occasion which was also attended by the Zanzibar Police Commissioner Hamad Khamis Hamad, Prof Haji Semboja and Dr Hilderbrand Shayo presented an appraisal of the book.
The former IGP said his book was a gift to Tanzanians and would thus be available for free, thanking Hanns Seidel Foundation of Germany for sponsorship of its publication.
