Tanzania is hosting African Heads of State Summit on human capital scheduled for 25th and 26th July, 2023 at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam.
Briefing the press yesterday, Arusha International Conference Centre Managing Director Ephraim Mafuru said all is set for the historical meeting and Tanzanians should use this rare opportunity to market their tourism products.
Chipping in on how wananchi will benefit from the heads of state summit, Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila said about 1200 guests are expected to be in attendance and will be making tours of various sites of their choice.
“More than 40 hotels will be used by our guests. This will be a great opportunity for more than 100 traders we’ve invited to promote the country’s tourism products,’’ said Chalamila.
