A Chinese national on a tour of Serengeti National Park died yesterday evening when a vehicle, he and six others, were travelling in was involved in an accident near Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
A statement released by the Tanzania National Parks — TANAPA — comminication unit in Arusha said seven Chinese tourists were travelling in a car with registration No. T 603 DCL, property of Yonda Africa, which
was being driven by a local driver.
The body of the deceased tourist was transported to Mugumu government hospital for preservation, while the other six holidaymakers are receiving treatment at the same facility, the statement said.
It said TANAPA is collaborating with other government bodies to determine the cause of the accident.
