Azania Bank sponsors TANAPA workforce e training scheme

Dodoma — TANAPA, the state-run Tanzania National Parks Authority, has launched an ambitious programme to train its workforce in the promotion of tourism under the sponsorship of Azania Bank.

The training is being conducted by experts from the Open University of Tanzania in Dodoma to impart necessary skills to the TANAPA workers.

The training has attracted 100 workers of various cadres engaged in its value chain, according to a statement issued by the state-run tourism agency,

Upon coming to power in 2021, President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s government pushed for the strengthening of tourism as a major foreign exchange earner sector.
